Bu sistemde büyük ölçekli ve akademik olarak değerli görülen eserler göz hizasına yerleştirilirken, diğerleri yukarı ya da aşağı konumlandırılarak ikincil bir statüye itilirdi. Eser, bu tarihsel modeli güncel bir bağlama taşıyarak, sanat nesnesinin kendisinden çok onu dolaşıma sokan altyapıları öne çıkarır. Çerçeveler içinde yer alan kamyon ve parça imgeleri, üretim, taşıma ve lojistik süreçlerini görünür kılarak sergileme hiyerarşisini maddi bir zemine kaydırır. Böylece çalışma, görünürlük, değer ve yerleştirme arasındaki ilişkinin hem tarihsel hem de güncel koşullarını birlikte düşünmeye açar. Resmin prodüksiyonu, metr.cube tarafından geliştirilen küratöryel çerçeve ve kavramlara dayalı olarak Zeynep Erkman tarafından gerçekleştirilmiştir.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\/ \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e“Black Cube” reinterprets the exhibition format of the 19th-century Paris Salons, referencing the “salon hang” in which walls were densely filled from floor to ceiling and the visibility of works was hierarchically determined. Within this system, large-scale and academically valued works were placed at eye level, while others were positioned above or below, relegated to a secondary status. By translating this historical model into a contemporary context, the work foregrounds not the art object itself but the infrastructures that enable its circulation. The truck and component imagery embedded within the frames renders processes of production, transport, and logistics visible, shifting exhibition hierarchy onto a material plane. In doing so, the work opens up a space to consider the relationship between visibility, value, and placement across both historical and contemporary conditions.
