This sculpture titled Nullosaurus possesses a form that is both animalistic—echoing traces of prehistoric life—and organic and dynamic, alluding to the inner fragilities of contemporary human existence. The name Nullosaurus—seemingly derived from the Latin word nullus (meaning “nothingness” or “absence”) and the Greek sauros (meaning “lizard” or “dinosaur”)—suggests a being that belongs to nonexistence: a creature without a species, unborn, or one that has diverged from the evolutionary path.

Nullosaurus adlı bu heykel, biçimsel olarak hem prehistorik yaşamın izlerini taşıyan hayvanî bir yapıya, hem de çağdaş insanın içsel kırılganlıklarına göndermede bulunan organik ve dinamik bir forma sahiptir. Başlığı itibarıyla, “Nullosaurus” — Latince “nullus” (hiçlik, yokluk) ve Yunanca “sauros” (kertenkele/dinozor) sözcüklerinden türetilmiş gibi okunabilir — türü olmayan, yokluğa ait, doğmamış ya da evrimsel çizgiden sapmış bir varlığı imler.
