This work seeks to visualize the concept of “appearing larger than one actually is” and the tendency for self-aggrandizement. It features wearable T-Rex feet designed as shoes. When worn, these shoes increase the wearer’s height and make their steps heavier. The work aims to serve as a form of defense against individuals who speak in loud tones, constantly talk about themselves, or project idealized versions of their lives on social media. By referencing the behavior of such individuals, the work suggests a counter-response: the physical embodiment of exaggerated presence through the integration of T-Rex feet. The T-Rex, a well-known species of the theropod class and one of the most iconic carnivorous dinosaurs, is symbolically merged with the human body in an attempt to challenge those who assert dominance through performative self-inflation.

Bu çalışmada ise “olduğundan daha büyük görünme, kendini abartma” kavramı görselleştirilmek istenmektedir. Bu çalışmada giyilebilir T Rex ayakları ayakkabı olarak tasarlanmıştır. Bu ayakkabıları giyen insanların boyları uzamakta, adımları ağırlaşmaktadır. Bu ayakkabılar ile yüksek bir ses tonunda konuşup sürekli kendilerinden bahseden insanlarda, sosyal medyada günlük hayatta yaşadıklarından daha farklı bir hayatı yansıtan insanlara karşı bir savunma mekanizması oluşturulmak istemektedir. Kendisini abartarak karşısındaki insanın üzerinde hakimiyet kurmaya çalışan bir insan karşı, Theropod sınıfına bağlı, ismi bilinen en bilindik etobur dinozor türü olan T-Rex’in ayakları bedene dahil edilmek istenmektedir
