Daha Dişli Olabilmek İçin 2 / To be more resilient II

The work is wearable; it is an aluminum Smilodon (Saber-Toothed Tiger) skull. The title of
this sculpture is To Be More Resilient 2. The piece draws on the Turkish idiom “to be resilient” (literally “to have more teeth”) as its conceptual starting point. This sculpture refers conceptually to the dynamics of human relationships in a capitalist and competitive society. It aims to integrate the teeth of one of the most iconic predators in nature into the human body as a metaphor for a skill necessary for survival under competitive conditions. The aluminum material was chosen to sculpt a one-to-one replica of the animal’s skull, enhancing the sculptural dimension of the work.

Eser giyilebilir, Alüminyum bir Smilidon(Kılıç Dişli Kaplan) Kafatasıdır. Bu heykelin İsmi " Daha Dişli Olabilmek İçin 2" ‘dir. Bu heykelde Türkçedeki "Dişli Olmak” deyimi başvuru olarak alınmıştır. Bu heykel kavram olarak, kapitalist rekabetçi toplumun insan ilişkilerine göndermede bulunmaktadır. Rekabet koşullarında hayatta kalabilmek için gerekli olan bir beceri için doğada var olmuş, diş konusunda en popüler hayvanlardan birisinin dişlerini bedene dahil etmek amaçlanmıştır. Alüminyum malzeme bu hayvanın kafatasının birebir kopyasını daha fazla heykelleştirmek için seçilmiştir.
