This work is a kinetic sculpture operated by motors connected to motion sensors.
Produced from stainless steel, the structure represents a conceptual and formal continuation of the artist’s earlier “spine” forms. Reminiscent of an organic creature, it symbolically reflects reactive behaviors developed by species in response to environmental conditions, articulated through both anthropomorphic and abstract language.

However, this reactivity does not point to the continuity of life, but rather to a questioning of existence itself. In this sense, the piece embodies a counter-cyclical notion aligned with antinatalist philosophy. The moving limbs positioned on the left side of the sculpture remain unable to touch or connect, and despite their constant motion, the cycle is never completed.

Bu çalışma, hareket sensörlerine bağlı motorlarla çalışan bir kinetik heykeldir. Paslanmaz çelik malzeme ile üretilmiş olan bu yapı, sanatçının önceki "omurga" formlarının kavramsal ve biçimsel devamı niteliğindedir. İzleyici heykelin yakınına geldiğinde, yapı titreşim veya hareket aracılığıyla tepki verir; bu etkileşim, organizma ile çevresi arasındaki duyusal ilişkiyi çağrıştırır. Heykelin biçiminde yer alan kıvrımlar, diken benzeri uzantılar ve içe/dışa doğru akan formlar, biyolojik evrim, koruma içgüdüsü ve tehdit algısı gibi kavramlara gönderme yapar. Ancak bu tepkisellik, yaşamın sürekliliğine değil, varoluşun sorgulanmasına işaret eder; bu yönüyle eser, antinatalizm düşüncesiyle örtüşen bir karşı-döngüselliği temsil eder. Heykelin sol kısmında yer alan boşlukta hareket eden uzuvlar birbirleriyle kavuşamazlar ve döngü bütün harekete rağmen birleşerek tamamlanmaz..
