Another work produced for the exhibition features a T-Rex embryo made of stainless steel, following the logic of upcycling. The spinal forms I frequently use in my works have always been, to some extent, inspired by dinosaur vertebrae. In this piece, however, rather than abstracting the vertebrae, I chose to work directly with the figure of the dinosaur itself. T-Rexes represent the ultimate endpoint of a species evolutionary journey toward adaptation.
They emerged around 68 million years ago and became extinct approximately 66 million
years ago. That extinction marks the final phase of a species whose evolutionary arc spanned 165 million years. Despite its evolutionary success, nothing remains of it but a few fossils.
This extinction is absolute, and yet, in this work, I represent the unborn form of a highly
evolved species, thereby raising the question of humanity’s own continuity. By using stainless steel, a man-made material, I aimed to enhance the conceptual impact of this form.

Sergi için üretilen bir diğer çalışmada ileri dönüşüm mantığı ile paslanmaz çelikten üretilmiş bir T – Rex embriyosudur. Eserlerimde kullandığım omurga formları bir boyutuyla hep dinozor omurgalarından esinlenilmiş formlardır. Bu çalışmada ise dinozor omurgalarını soyutlamaktansa doğrudan dinozorun kendisini kullanmayı tercih ettim. T Rex’ler evrimsel süreçte bir türün uyum sağlama yolunda varabileceği en uç noktayı temsil ederler. 68 milyon yıl önce ortaya çıkıp 66 milyon önce yok olmuşlardır. Bir türün evriminin son noktası, 165 milyonluk bir sürecin son yıllarına denk gelir. Buna rağmen yok olmuştur ve ondan geriye birkaç fosilden başka bir şey kalmamıştır. Yok olması kesin, yüksek evrim ürünü bir türün henüz doğmamış halinin temsili ile insan neslinin devamının gerekliliği sorgulanmaktadır. Paslanmaz çelik gibi insan ürünü bir malzemenin kullanılması ile birlikte bu formun etkisinin güçlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.
