Güliz Kayahan - Ab-ı Hayat

Ab-ı Hayat isimli video, genel hatlarıyla 3 sekanstan oluşuyor.

Giriş sekansı, musluktan akan su olarak karşımıza çıkıyor, bu şekilde «doğum» anını metaforize etmek istedim.

Ardından eller, kendisini söz gelimi ‘kirletecek’ farklı nesnelere dokunuyor, ve zihni metaforize eden suyun içerisinde kendilerini temizlemeye çalışıyorlar. Ancak su gittikçe bulanıklaşıyor ve zaman geçtikçe bu anılarla zihin, saflığını kaybediyor.

Son sekansta ise musluktan akan suyun kesildiğini görüyoruz. Bu da aynı şekilde »ölüm» ü simgeliyor.

Ve sonra, her şey, başka bireylerin farklı zihinlerinde yeniden başlıyor.

The video titled "Ab-ı Hayat" consists of three main sequences.

The opening sequence features water flowing from a tap, symbolizing the moment of "birth."
Then, hands touch various objects that metaphorically "soil" them, and they try to cleanse themselves in water, which represents the mind. However, the water gradually becomes murky, and over time, the mind loses its purity due to these memories.

In the final sequence, we see the water from the tap being cut off, symbolizing "death."
 

And then, everything begins anew in the different minds of other individuals.
