Şimdi, Reklamlar!, metr.cube’ün üçüncü iterasyonu kapsamında geliştirilen yedi hayali ürüne ait sanatçı üretimi pazarlama videolarını bir araya getirir. Bu video yerleştirmesi, sanat deneyimini kolaylaştırma vaadiyle kurgulanmış nesneleri sunarken, aynı anda güncel sanat alanının davranış kalıplarını, beklentilerini ve görünmez işleyişlerini açığa çıkarır. Her video, izleyiciyi katılımcı, tüketici ve gözlemci konumları arasında dolaşıma sokarken, bu rollerin sınırlarını da muğlaklaştırır. Rastlantı, ritüel, performans ve arzu ekseninde kurulan bu “mini-ekonomi”, sanat deneyimini erişilebilir bir ürüne indirgerken, bu indirgeme sürecinin çelişkilerini görünür kılar.

Breaking Ads! brings together artist-produced marketing videos for seven fictional products developed as part of metr.cube’s third iteration. The video installation presents objects designed with the promise of facilitating the art experience, while simultaneously exposing the behavioral patterns, expectations, and underlying operations of the contemporary art field. Each video moves the viewer across positions, participant, consumer, observer, while blurring the boundaries between them. Structured around chance, ritual, performance, and desire, this “mini-economy” reduces the art experience to an accessible product, even as it makes visible the contradictions inherent in this reduction.
