Yoko Ono Tabutunun Seyir Defterinden Evrak-ı Metruke


metr.cube All Stars’da sergilenmek üzere oluşturulan bu eser, Yoko Ono tabutunun göğe yükseliş seyrini poetik bir dille aktarır. Kendine ait bir kozmosta ilerleyen bu yolculukta sadece dikey bir eksende ilerlenmemiş pek çok vektörel salınım yapılmıştır. Eser, “sanatçı-eser-sanatçının eserinden üretilen eser” ve Yoko Ono’nun sanat anlayışından referanslarla kendi içinde kapalı bir dolanım yaparken diğer taraftan mitik/dini motifleri kullanmış paralelindeyse yaşanmış bir olaydan ilhamla Yoko Ono’nun yerleştirmesinden bir parça olan fiziksel tabutun serüvenini büyülü gerçekçi bir dille anlatmıştır.Şiirin prodüksiyonu, metr.cube tarafından geliştirilen küratöryel çerçeve ve kavramlara dayalı olarak Selman Bilgehan tarafından gerçekleştirilmiştir.

Created specifically to be exhibited at metr.cube All Stars, this artwork poetically depicts the ascent of the Yoko Ono coffin into the heavens. Progressing through its own distinct cosmos, this journey does not merely follow a vertical axis but engages in numerous vectorial oscillations. The piece establishes a closed loop within itself, drawing references from Yoko Ono’s artistic philosophy and the conceptual triad of 'artist – artwork – artwork derived from the artist's artwork.' Simultaneously, it incorporates mythical and religious motifs; in parallel, drawing inspiration from a real-life event, it narrates the odyssey of the physical coffin, a piece from Yoko Ono’s original installation, through the lens of magical realism. Poem production was realized by Selman Bilgehan based on curatorial frameworks and concepts developed by metr.cube.
